Frequently asked questions from iris photographers
Answers on technology, billing and access. Further detail lives on the features, quality and pricing pages.
- What does the AI do during iris processing?
- The AI handles the technical groundwork: cutting out, aligning and working out the iris structure up to a print-ready file. The creative decision and the fine tuning stay with you.
- Does the real iris remain the basis?
- Yes. Your own studio capture is always the basis. No foreign eye is inserted.
- Why do the results look dimensional?
- Fibres, crypts, pigment structures and colour gradients are worked out separately instead of simply sharpening the image. That creates visible depth instead of flat standard processing.
- Is every iris artwork individual?
- Every artwork is built from the irises actually used in your project. In the Art Style Editor you decide arrangement, sizes, rotation and blending yourself. No finished foreign image is placed over the client capture.
- Do I have to use a design?
- No. Designs in the Art Style Editor are completely optional. You can download the finished, cut-out iris directly in 4K and then edit it manually in Photoshop or your preferred image editor, entirely in your own style. IRISORA does not impose a fixed style.
- Does using the Art Style Editor cost extra?
- No. Compositions in the Art Style Editor use no additional extra costs and the 4K output is included. Processing each individual iris beforehand remains chargeable under the existing credit model.
- Can I arrange the irises freely?
- Yes. You set position, order, size and effect extent, rotate iris and effect independently, and adjust the blending for each pair of irises individually.
- How many irises fit into one composition?
- An artwork can contain one to six irises from a project – for individuals, couples or families.
- Which image formats are available?
- Compositions can be created in portrait, landscape and square formats so you design straight for the print that was ordered.
- Can I save a design and reuse it?
- Yes. You can save drafts and continue later, and store a proven arrangement as a personal preset for future orders.
- Are calculated compositions kept?
- Yes. Every successfully calculated composition is stored as its own result in the project and stays there until you delete it. Results can be downloaded individually or together as a ZIP file.
- Do I need Photoshop?
- No. Upload, processing, editor and export all run in the studio area in your browser.
- What resolution do I receive?
- Every finished iris is exported at 4096 × 4096 pixels and 300 dpi – at no extra cost.
- What happens if processing fails?
- If a run fails technically, no credit is charged and the reservation is released in full. You can process the iris again.
- What does one iris cost?
- Billing works with credits: one credit per successfully processed iris, from €1.30 net in the largest package.
- Is there a subscription or minimum spend?
- No. There is no subscription, no base fee and no minimum spend. Purchased credits never expire.
- How long does processing take?
- The AI processing usually takes well under two minutes. The purely local finalisation to 4K follows and causes no further cost.
- Can I process several images at once?
- Yes. Within a project you can upload several captures and process them as a batch.
- Who may use IRISORA Studio?
- The offer is aimed exclusively at entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 German Civil Code. Access is granted after a review.
- What happens to my clients' images?
- Uploads and results live in a protected area with separate access per studio. A data processing agreement is available for the processing.
- How do I get started?
- You request studio access. Once approved you can buy credits and process your first own captures.
